TOPIC: WARNING! THERE IS NO TIME FOR EXCUSE
Text:Luke 14:16-23, 2 Corinthians 6:1-3, Hebrews 10:37, Romans 13:11-12.
Every one should accept this love God has demostrated to humanity by giving us free salvation through the precious blood of Jesus Christ. In John 3:16-18, we can confirm this love and the resultant effect of the love. Nobody should negelect it or have excuse as to why he/she is not saved. If you have excuse, know that there is no time for such excuse anymore.
No one should refuse to respond to the great call being made by the messiah himself, our Lord Jesus Christ. Matthew 11:27-28, Luke 14:17
All those who will miss this lovely call will have no excuse ll they missed heaven and the opportunity to be saved. We all should take advantage of present acceptable. We are in the time of grace. A time when death has not occured, a time when rapture is yet to take place. It is a time of salvation. Now that you’re alive is the best time to take advantage of the free salvation being offered to all.
It is also a time for us to be spiritually blessed. 2 Corinthians 6:2- Inferring from this scripture, there is a time that is accepted. This implies that there is a time that is not accepted. This is after the rapture.
You should not toy with the priviledge and grace available to be saved now. Everything you are looking for is available with God. So, quit running around and focus on God so you can get what you are seeking. Hebrew 6:9. There are things that accompany salvation, these things can only be found in God because He alone gives them. Matthew 6:33- In this scripture, we are admonished to seek God first and receive every other thing we are in need of.
As you are in the Church, endeavour to be born again and live the kingdom lifestyle. Hebrews 9:27.
For more insight and understanding, we shall consider these points:
1: THE REASONS, UNACCEPTABLE EXCUSES AND WARNING
Whatever reason one is giving for rejecting the Master’s call is totally unacceptable.
Romans 2:1.
No one should hinder him/her self from being born again because God has provided everything to reconcile us back to Himself and restore the glory initially lost by the first man. Genesis 10:1, Genesis 3:3-11. Romans 3:23,
Whatever we are looking for today has been given to us by that one special gift God gave to humanity, the gift of his son Jesus. Although Adam spoiled the relationship at the onset, the coming of Jesus restored that relationship and every one who accepts Him now enjoys access to God.
Romans 8:31, Hebrews 2:9, John 10:10b, Jesus has come to give us the fullnes of His glory, as many that are born again will have all things through the grace of Jesus. That explains why Jesus gave us an open invitation in Matthew 11:27.
Luke 14: 15, Many in the Bible days gave excuses that were unacceptable in Luke 14:17. None of our excuses shall be accepted on that day if you miss the rapture. Romans 2:1, 2 Corinthians 6:1. We should not be like these persons in the Bible, rather we should take advantage of the freedom we can experience in Christ.
2: OUR EXPECTED RESPONSE AND DANGER OF NEGLECT
Everyone should run to God with true repentance, confession and amendment of all our ways. Make Jesus your Lord and personal saviour. Receive salvation now because it is free of charge, it is also complete. Your names shall be cancelled from the book of death and written in the book of life. 1 Corinthians 5:20.
Be encouraged that through Jesus, we are eligible to receive all things. Apostle Paul confirmed this in Phillipians 4:19.
Remember that we are converted for the glory of God, serve Him and He will bless you.
Remove any form of excuse you might be giving. Do the will of God always and your needs shall be attended to. Our heavenly Father will bless you and you shall be with Him at the end of this life.
Some persons may postpone their day of salvation till they’re old, that is not acceptable.
Luke 15:31, 1 Corinthians 15:10,
Take note that it was sin that initially robbed us of our rights as children of God. See Genesis 1:28. But now that we are back to the kingdom, we shall be gifted all we need by grace. We should not struggle anymore but receive all things from our Father. However, you can only begin by being born again.
Know that we have no excuse for missing the fellowship days. You have no excuse to even miss the rapture.
In summary, let us follow the Lord with all our hearts. Do the work of evangelism, maintain holiness and righteousness. The danger of neglecting this message is that after the rapture, there will no longer be grace for repentance or amendment. . The grace is available now.Matthew 9:43 .
As we conclude this message today, you must stop making excuses that give room to the Devil in your life.
You must therefore amend your ways and do not return to sin. Sin will hinder you and deny you of the joy of salvation.
For the sinners and Backsliders, they should repent and surrender all to Jesus Christ.
Confess your sins and accept Jesus Christ today as your Lord and personal Saviour.
A Sinner is not a Christian and a Christian is not a Sinner.
1 John 3: 8 & 9.
Are you asking, “what is sin?”
1 John 5: 17a;
All unrighteousness is sin.
Unbelief is sin. Unforgiveness is sin; Selfishness is sin; Covetousness is sin
Lusting after evil things is sin. Insincerity is sin; backbiting, murmuring, speaking evil of others, these are terrible sin. You need to search your life. Confess them. Repent and promise God, no more.
Are you patronising the native doctors or you are one of them? Are you going for divination and palm reading, all that is terrible wickedness. No child of God does that. If you are into stealing, any form of stealing; stealing from Government, stealing from companies and individuals, that is sin. Amend your ways.
If you are there and you are involved into armed robbery, duping people, do not bring such money to this Church.
If you are among those people that are involved in fornication, adultery, homosexuality, lesbianism, abortion, that is terrible wickedness.
Fighting and quarreling, smoking and drunkenness all these are evil. Ask for the mercy of God.
Are you into fighting and quarreling? Are you disobedient to your husband or you are beating your wife, that is sin.
Are you into any kind of killing, poisoning people, hired assassin, ritual killings?Confess that sin and amend your ways. Promise God you will not return to that wickedness.
Are you into extortion? Taking bribe or giving bribe? That is sin. Amend your ways.
Are you into divorce? That is sin.
Matthew 19: 4-6.
Are you into polygamous marriage or you have sent away your wife or you moved away from your husband, that is sin. Marriage is between a man and a woman until death separates you.
Are you a woman dressing like a man or a man dressing like a woman, all that is sin. It is an abomination. Deuteronomy 22: 5. Abominable people can never enter Heaven. Revelations 21: 8.
Are you among those that take snuff, take cigarette and banned substances, that is sin. That is wickedness against your soul and against humanity.
All these people that bleach their body and turn yellow over night, that is sin.
I have not spoken this word to condemn you but to point out what is evil thereby enabling you to amend your ways.
The unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
I have spoken these words, not to condemn you, but to convict you of any sin you may be into and for you to turn away from that sin.
Proverbs 28: 13;
God is willing to show you mercy and he has made provisions for the sins that are passed.
If you want to reconcile with God; come to the Father through Jesus Christ. I am assuring you, freedom from sin shall be your portion.
John 14: 6; John 1: 29; John 10: 10b; Matthew 11: 28; John 1: 12; 2 Corinthians 5: 17
As you give your life to Jesus Christ and begin to live the life of the kingdom of God, I am assuring you, that power to overcome all things shall be granted to you.
Romans 10: 13
Rise up and let us pray.
Father Lord, have mercy upon me. I am sorry for every excuse that has hindered me not to serve the Living God Cleanse us with the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. Grant us dominion, favour, blessings and miracles in Jesus Christ name.
