THEME: EXCEPT THE LORD BUILDS THE HOUSE

Text: Psalm 127: 1 & 2; Hosea 4: 6; Matthew 6: 33; Psalm 102: 16 & 17; Hebrews 3: 4

Men, this programme is for you and equally for youths and all.
Men are highly blessed by the most high God. God created us after his image and likeness as recorded in Genesis 1: 26 & 27
God created us to be like him in purity, righteousness, holiness and power. He created us to have dominion over every creature created by God.
He created us to reign over all things including our wives. That is what makes us the leader and head of the family.
I also want to tell all the youths and women, you are highly blessed.

Genesis 1: 27 & 28; Genesis 2:18 – 23
Whatever Adam called anything, that is the name that the creature bears till this day.
It was also Adam that gave the Woman the name she bears till today.
Men, you must never stretch your hands against the woman. God has given you so much power and you are highly blessed by the most high God.
Chosen People, men and women, favoured and blessed.
All men should remember the authority that God gave to us. When you consider the twelve Apostles, you will never find a woman.

Matthew 10: 1-3; Luke 10: 19
Men are blessed and have power.
You see here today, I will exercise power and authority and both men and women shall be liberated. Amen.

God has made man his Agent and Ambassadors on earth. Unfortunately, sin brought man into suffering. Consequently, man has been suffering outside the perfect will of God because of sin.

Genesis 3: 15-19
Punishment was given to man, woman and satan for leading man into sin. Man was subject to mockery.

Romans 8: 20
Man was subjected to vanity and therefore man is unable to achieve anything on their own.

Zechariah 4: 6; Philipians 4: 13
It is by the Spirit of God that you can do greater things.
If you want to be a champion and achieve great success, it is by the Spirit of God.

John 15: 4 & 5
Whatever you think you have achieved is nothing without Jesus Christ. Being close to God is a thing of joy.

We shall consider this message under the following sub headings:

A. MAN’S GREATEST NEED AND REASONS.

God created man to be like him and gave him everything free of charge. This implies that man has special favour before God.
Any man who wants to have this favour or be a favoured person must have Christ Jesus.
If you want to be very rich in isolation from God, you are wasting your time.
If you depend on God, you will achieve progress without limitations.

Psalm 122: 1; Psalm 23:
Going to the house of God is a pleasure and delight.
The Psalmist is a man of understanding.
If there is any man, woman or youth that does not have this understanding they will not be serious with the things of God.

One thing that is very certain is that any man that is after this world without Christ will end up in hellfire.

Ecclesiastes 1: 2; Ecclesiastes 2: 1- 11
When you pursue after vanity, you end up in vanity.
The men of old had great understanding.
Are you in this place and you are after vanity and have forsaken God? Return to God Almighty.

Mark 8 : 36 & 37
If you are among them that forsake the Lord, you will end up in hell- fire. I pray it will never be your portion
Man’s greatest need therefore is to return to God and be restored in the presence of God.
What we are looking for is not in the schools nor market. What we are looking for is here in God’s presence. It is in the House of God.
What we need is to return to God through Jesus Christ.
When you come to him, he will give you all things.

Matthew 6: 33
If you have Jesus, he will glorify you and bless you.
You see you, what you need in life to be glorious make it here and heaven at last, is Jesus Christ.

If you obey me to depend on God, you shall not lack.
If you rely on this God, you shall see what you have never seen before. He is the God of impossibilities.
Jesus Christ delighted in the House of God. There is nothing that Jesus Christ did in isolation of God Almighty.

The Lord has brought me today to tell you that you must never isolate the House of God.

Matthew 21: 12-14
Jesus Christ said that “My Father’s house is the house of prayers”
Our greatest need is to return to God.

John 8: 29; Matthew 11: 27
Jesus Christ did always those things that pleased God.

I want to plead with you today, let us make sure we return to God and to the House of God.

You see you today, as God blessed those people that delighted in serving God and you make a decision today to delight yourself in serving the Lord, the Lord God will bless you even more in Jesus name.

My prayer is that after this day, you will take it as a pleasure to be in the House of God.

God is the giver of life; he is the giver of protection.
As you take delight in the house of God, he will connect you to your Helpers.

God knows your end from the beginning, you must therefore remain with him so that he will make you what he wants you to be.

Psalm 40: 1
The Psalmist waited patiently for the Lord.
You see you, if you will take the Lord as a delight, God will put a new song in your mouth; rising and falling will never be your portion anymore.

Isaiah 54: 14
When you come to the Lord and endeavour to do the will of God, you shall be established.

Take note, except the Lord builds the house, they labour in vain that build it.

Matthew 19: 26
Run to Jesus Christ, he will make you and prosper you.

Job 22: 23 -30
When you are closer to God in righteousness and consecration, all things shall be delivered to you.

In this perilous times, draw near to Jesus. Now that the rapture is drawing near, let us draw us draw closer to Jesus.

Hebrews 10: 22 -25
Do not forsake the gathering of the brethren. Do not say because you can connect to the Church Service via cable television, then you will not come to Church. If you do that, you will be discouraging the Unbelievers from being saved.
2: MAN IN GOD’S PICTURE; OUR RESPONSE AND BENEFITS

Man was made to live like God in purity, holiness and power. God has made us to be in charge of the earth
Psalm 115: 16
The Lord gave the earth to me and to you.

Genesis 1: 27 & 28
Dominion is the orihinal right of man

Revelations 21 : 4 & 7
When we reconcile with the Lord in true holiness and righteousness, sorrow shall be no more.
If you make up your mind to submit to God, honestly God will supply all your needs.

As a matter of response to this message, i want to admonish all of you that life is not by struggle.
If you are struggling, you are out of grace.
If you are struggling, you are not in his perfect will.
Many of you sitted here, you can give witness to what Gid has done in your life.

Hosea 14: 1-5
Return so that you do not build on sinking sand anymore.
As you return today, I am assuring you that the Lord will give you all things.

As you return today, make sure you will never ever be late to Church. Do not ever despise the gathering of the brethren.

Matthew 7: 7.
Ask and it shall be given unto you.
Psalm 40: 1
I waited patiently for the Lord and the Lord heard my cry.
Psalm 127: 1
Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it.

As we conclude this message today, make sure you do not give place to the Devil.
You must therefore amend your ways and do not return to sin. Sin will hinder you and deny you of your blessings and joy.
For the sinners and Backsliders, they should repent and surrender all to Jesus Christ.
Confess your sins and accept Jesus Christ today as your Lord and personal Saviour.
A Sinner is not a Christian and a Christian is not a Sinner.
1 John 3: 8 & 9;
Are you asking, “what is sin?”
1 John 5: 17a;
All unrighteousness is sin.
Unbelief is sin. Unforgiveness is sin; Selfishness is sin; Covetousness is sin
Lusting after evil things is sin.  Insincerity is sin; backbiting, murmuring, speaking evil of others, these are terrible sin. You need to search your life. Confess them. Repent and promise God, no more.
Are you patronising the native doctors or you are one of them? Are you going for divination and palm reading, all that is terrible wickedness. No child of God does that. If you are into stealing, any form of stealing; stealing from Government, stealing from companies and individuals, that is sin. Amend your ways.
If you are there and you are involved into armed robbery, duping people, do not bring such money to this Church.

If you are among those people that are involved in fornication, adultery, homosexuality, lesbianism, abortion, that is terrible wickedness.
Fighting and quarreling, smoking and drunkenness all these are evil. Ask for the mercy of God.

Are you into fighting and quarreling? Are you disobedient to your husband or you are beating your wife, that is sin.
Are you into any kind of killing, poisoning people, hired assassin, ritual killings?Confess that sin and amend your ways. Promise God you will not return to that wickedness.
Are you into extortion? Taking bribe or giving bribe? That is sin. Amend your ways.
Are you into divorce? That is sin.
Matthew 19: 4-6.

Are you into polygamous marriage or you have sent away your wife or you moved away from your husband, that is sin. Marriage is between a man and a woman until death separates you.
Are you a woman dressing like a man or a man dressing like a woman, all that is sin. It is an abomination. Deuteronomy 22: 5. Abominable people can never enter Heaven. Revelations 21: 8.
Are you among those that take snuff, take cigarette and banned substances, that is sin. That is wickedness against your soul and against humanity.

All these people that bleach their body and turn yellow over night, that is sin.
I have not spoken this word to condemn you but to point out what is evil thereby enabling you to amend your ways.
The unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
I have spoken these words, not to condemn you, but to convict you of any sin you may be into and for you to turn away from that sin.

Proverbs 28: 13;
God is willing to show you mercy and he has made provisions for the sins that are passed.
If you want to reconcile with God; come to the Father through Jesus Christ. I am assuring you, freedom from sin shall be your portion.
John 14: 6; John 1: 29; John 10: 10b; Matthew 11: 28; John 1: 12; 2 Corinthians 5: 17
As you give your life to Jesus Christ and begin to live the life of the kingdom of God,  I am assuring you, that power shall come upon you.
Romans 10: 13
Rise up and let us pray.
Father Lord, have mercy upon us, we are sorry for our past lives. Cleanse us with the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Build us up oh Lord God.
