TOPIC: BREAKTHROUGH AND POSSESS

TEXT: 1 Chronicles 11: 16; Isaiah 43: 10; 1 Corinthians 16: 1

Many people are going through difficult situations and do all sorts just to get a form of relief from their many challenges. Some can get temporary relief only to return to their problems shortly after. Some may have breakthrough in one area but have challenges in other areas of their life. Some have obtained breakthrough from questionable sources and that is not proper.
Let us consider the example of a man in the Bible
In the scriptures, we find an army official who was quite honorable but he had an outstanding issue in his life. 2 Kings 5:1.
His name is Naaman and despite his greatness, he was a leper. For some people, whenever there is a little sign of prosperity, a huge problem arises.
They always experience near success syndrome. A lot of misfortune follow such people and oppose them always such that they can never experience total breakthrough. If that is your case today, God will visit you in a special way. He will give you total breakthrough.

Romans 8: 31-32- We see the promise of God here; He promises to freely give us all things. As long as God did not withhold His son from us, He is even more willing to give us total breakthrough.

We shall consider these points for better understanding and benefits.

1: THE MISCONCEPTION OF TOTAL BREAKTHROUGH.

Many people do not understand what total breakthrough is really about and cannot actually show evidence of this breakthrough. Some persons think breakthrough is all about financial wealth. This is a mis-conception and not the true meaning of total breakthrough. These set of people go into all manner of evil. They are even ready to kill and commit fraud.
This approach in entirely wrong. As believers, we must not conform to this evil lifestyle. Some who are in the church are even ready to abandon their commitment to God to make quick money.

Wealth is only a minute aspect of breakthrough. It is not total breakthrough. Some people who are perceived as rich do not have peace of mind.  Some others are terminally ill, while some are constantly scared for their safety. Is this the sort of wealth you are chasing after?

Luke 19:1- Here, we see the story of Zacchaeus, a rich man during the time of Jesus’ ministry on earth. It seemed like he had everything but still lacked something that only Jesus could give- salvation.

James 5:1.Ecclesiastes 10:19
Although the Bible mentions that money answers all things, it still does not justify the need to kill or steal to make money. If one loves money too much, such a person will become a slave to money, thereby doing all manner of things to get it. No wonder the Bible calls it the root of all evil in 1 Timothy 6: 10. Mark 9: 43, Luke 16:19.
Luke 12:15. We have been purchased by his blood. We must not waste time like others did.
Mark 8:36, Matt 19:16.Whatever wealth you amass here on earth must be according to the will of God. 1 Corinthians 15:19.

2: ALL ROUND OR TOTAL BREAKTHROUGH EXPLAINED AND OUR RESPONSE

Nobody living in sin should assume he/she has total breakthrough. Do not let your status, money or position make you assume you have total breakthrough. Luke 19:1,

Today, I am sure that whatever we ask of the Lord, He will grant unto us. If anyone wants to be saved and have all things, such person must go through Jesus Christ.
Salvation without Christ is counterfeit. You get access to all things when you come in through Christ.  Matthew 11:27

Life isn’t by struggle but by the gift of God.
He has the capacity to give you all things when you come into the kingdom and start to live the kingdom lifestyle. If you become a true daughter or son of God, you will see something new in your life.
Psalm 34:6, 1 Corinthians 3:21, 2 Corinthians 6: 10, Corinthians 3:5, Psalm 40: 1

Finally, to have all  round breakthrough, we must firstly begin by submitting to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

As we conclude this message today, you may be enticed by the devil while you go seeking for breakthrough. Ensure you do not fall.
You must prepare yourself by amending your ways and do not return to sin. Sin will give the devil access into your life. Sin will hinder you and deny you of your blessings and joy. Sin will hinder you from the true and original breakthrough.
For the sinners and Backsliders, they should repent and surrender all to Jesus Christ.
Confess your sins and accept Jesus Christ today as your Lord and personal Saviour.
A Sinner is not a Christian and a Christian is not a Sinner.
1 John 3: 8 & 9;
Are you asking, “what is sin?”
1 John 5: 17a;
All unrighteousness is sin.
Unbelief is sin. Unforgiveness is sin; Selfishness is sin; Covetousness is sin
Lusting after evil things is sin.  Insincerity is sin; backbiting, murmuring, speaking evil of others, these are terrible sin. You need to search your life. Confess them. Repent and promise God, no more.
Are you patronising the native doctors or you are one of them? Are you going for divination and palm reading, all that is terrible wickedness. No child of God does that. If you are into stealing, any form of stealing; stealing from Government, stealing from companies and individuals, that is sin. Amend your ways.
If you are there and you are involved into armed robbery, duping people, do not bring such money to this Church.

If you are among those people that are involved in fornication, adultery, homosexuality, lesbianism, abortion, that is terrible wickedness.
Fighting and quarreling, smoking and drunkenness all these are evil. Ask for the mercy of God.

Are you into fighting and quarreling? Are you disobedient to your husband or you are beating your wife, that is sin.
Are you into any kind of killing, poisoning people, hired assassin, ritual killings?Confess that sin and amend your ways. Promise God you will not return to that wickedness.
Are you into extortion? Taking bribe or giving bribe? That is sin. Amend your ways.
Are you into divorce? That is sin.
Matthew 19: 4-6.

Are you into polygamous marriage or you have sent away your wife or you moved away from your husband, that is sin. Marriage is between a man and a woman until death separates you.
Are you a woman dressing like a man or a man dressing like a woman, all that is sin. It is an abomination. Deuteronomy 22: 5. Abominable people can never enter Heaven. Revelations 21: 8.
Are you among those that take snuff, take cigarette and banned substances, that is sin. That is wickedness against your soul and against humanity.

All these people that bleach their body and turn yellow over night, that is sin.
I have not spoken this word to condemn you but to point out what is evil thereby enabling you to amend your ways.
The unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

God is willing to show you mercy and he has made provisions for the sins that are passed.
John 14: 6; John 1: 29; John 10: 10b; Matthew 11: 28; John 1: 12; 2 Corinthians 5: 17
As you give your life to Jesus Christ and begin to live the life of the kingdom of God,  I am assuring you, that power shall come upon you.
Romans 10: 13
