Psalm 34:18-19 “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.”

At times we get into situations that overwhelm us and we want to give up. This was the situation of our brother Alexander Olakunle who wanted to take his life.

He had donated one of his kidneys sometime ago and early last year he started experiencing difficulty passing faeces and urinating. He was going through some other issues and wanted to kill himself.

However, he was given the opportunity to meet with one of our sisters who led him to Christ and invited him to the programme – The Hope for the Needy, which commenced yesterday. He came full of sorrows yesterday, hoping for a miracle from God and our God who never fails was on ground to answer him.

Our General Overseer, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, during his prayers released brand new kidneys and he immediately felt a punch in his stomach. Within five minutes, he felt the need to use the toilet. Since then and till now, he has been able to urinate and pass stool without any difficulties.

Our brother is now determined to remain a Chosen. We thank God who confirms the word of His messenger and heals all our infirmities!!
