Topic: There Shall Be Showers Of Blessings
Text: Ezekiel 34: 25 & 26; Joel 2: 23-27; Isaiah 27: 3; Psalm 1: 3
Our God has designed this day to bless everyone of us and in every area of our lives. You will agree that you have been blessed in one area or the other since the beginning of this theme
It is possible that you may be coming for the first time today and had not been touched by this showers; today in as much as you are under the influence of my voice here today, the rain shall touch you. There shall be showers of blessings
We shall consider the following sub-headings:
- THE REASONS FOR THE SHOWERS AND THE CERTAINTY OF IT TODAY.
Exodus 33: 18-19; Exodus 34: 6; Deuteronomy 28: 1-2
In the course of last month, God Almighty gave us things in abundance. That was the month of Abundance.
In the Lords Chosen, we have a prophetic label for each month of the human calendar.
This time around all the blessings we have received previously must be watered.
The blessings can only increase where it is being watered.
God Almighty being our loving Father and the only good God knows what is good for you and me.
Romans 3: 23
It is because of sin that the glory we had at the very beginning was lost.
If you are not clothed with the glory of God, you will find it difficult to work with God.
Matthew 6: 33
All the things that make for the glory of God shall be added unto you.
Hebrews 2: 6 -8
The Lord God has made salvation available for all to benefit through Jesus Christ.
God has made us to know that every aspect of God’s blessings constitutes the glory of God. This includes spiritual, physical, financial, social, marital blessings and more.
Be reminded that when Adam lost the nature of God, he was cast out of the blessings which were hitherto available in the garden of Eden.
As we receive and retain the blessings of God, we shall grow from glory to glory.
Hebrews 2: 9 &10; John 15: 4 & 5
From the above scriptures, it is clear that any man that shall be saved must be through Jesus Christ.
Today the grace of God to be saved has been made available through Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ paid the ransom for our salvation. He paid the price for our sins and has opened the way for you and me to be saved.
Jesus Christ is the hope of glory and today that glory shall come upon you.
Today, everyone of you shall be clothed with blessings upon blessings.
2 Corinthians 3: 16-19; 2 Corinthians 4: 14-15
As we remain in him, we shall be transformed from glory to glory. Outside the Lord, the abundance you received shall disappear.
This is the month of showers and as we continue to behold the glory of God, our blessings shall be watered.
God has brought us today to continue to shower us with his blessings. As we remain the blessings shall never decrease.
Isaiah 27: 3
You see you, God will water your soul and he will watch over it night and day.
You will never backslide. You will grow from glory to glory.
You see you, God will finish the work.
Joel 2: 25-27
In this programme today, there shall be restoration.
God is in our midst.
God has made the promise. This is the season of grace. As Christ has not come the season of grace prevails, therefore I am assuring you there shall be showers of blessings.
Genesis 22: 16 & 17; Genesis 24: 1
God who cannot lie has promised.
Malachi 3: 6
God that promised and blessed Abraham, he has not changed. What he did before, he will do it again.
Psalm 89: 33-35; Titus 1: 2
God cannot lie and he cannot alter his word. In this programme today, there shall be showers of blessings upon you.
- THE BENEFITS OF THE SHOWERS AND OUR RESPONSE.
Romans 8: 31& 32
If God be for us, who can be against us?
You see you, you are going home with all things.
The rain of blessings will beat you today.
When we are clothed in the glory of righteousness, love holiness, faith, fear of God, meekness and humility, God will dwell with you.
As many of you that are here today, every aspect of this glory shall be your portion.
If you are living the life if righteousness, you are under the showers and the devil cannot touch you.
If you be a Child of God, the eyes of God will be upon you.
When we are clothed with holiness and righteousness, God will be with you.
As we continue to live the life if righteousness, we shall never lose what we have received.
When we are clothed with the divine nature of God, God Almighty will be with us.
1 Peter 3: 11-13
Devil, demons, witches and wizards cannot harm you if you be followers of that which is good.
God will water us every moment and keep us night and day.
There is nothing to worry and nothing to fear
All that is required is for you to fear God and keep to righteousness.
I want to announce to you today, whether you like it or not there shall be showers of blessings.
God wants us to have authority over the devil, demons and over their Agents. He also wants us to bring glory to his name.
The plan of God for you is to make you a person that is blessed and not otherwise.
Luke 10: 19
In this place you shall receive power and authority. People shall see the glory of God in your life.
All the lost glory of Adam shall be restored.
Deuteronomy 28: 11-13
All that glory; all the showers shall be restored unto you today.
Isaiah 43: 20 & 21
God formed you for praise and from today your life shall be an instrument to bring glory to God
Matthew 5: 15 & 16
Let your light so shine that men will see your good works and glorify God in Heaven.
Consequent upon the above facts, we should pray and ask God for the showers both spiritually and otherwise.
Today whatsoever will give glory to God constitutes the showers and these showers will come upon you.
Matthew 7: 7
If there is any area you need the showers, as we are about to do prayers, present that area before God that your joy may be full.
As we conclude this message today, it is important that you amend your ways and do not return to sin.
Sin will hinder you and deny you of your showers of blessings.
For the sinners and Backsliders, they should repent and surrender all to Jesus Christ.
Confess your sins and accept Jesus Christ today as your Lord and personal Saviour.
A Sinner is not a Christian and a Christian is not a Sinner.
1 John 3: 8 & 9;
Are you asking what is sin?
1 John 5: 17a;
Unbelief is sin. Selfishness is sin; Covetousness is sin, Insincerity is sin; backbiting, murmuring, speaking evil of others, these are terrible sin.
Going to native doctors, going for divination and palm reading, all that is terrible wickedness. No child of God does that. If you are into stealing, any form of stealing; stealing from Government, stealing from companies and individuals, that is sin. Amend your ways.
If you are there and you are involved into armed robbery, duping people, do not bring such money to this Church.
If you are among those people that are involved in fornication, adultery, homosexuality, lesbianism, abortion, that is terrible wickedness.
Fighting and quarreling, smoking and drunkenness all these are evil. Ask for the mercy of God.
Are you into fighting and quarreling? Are you disobedient to your husband or you are beating your wife, that is sin.
Are you into any kind of killing, poisoning people, hired assassin? Confess that sin and amend your ways. Promise God you will not return to that wickedness.
Are you into divorce? That is sin.
Matthew 19: 4-6.
Are you into polygamous marriage or you have sent away your wife or you moved away from your husband, that is sin. Marriage is between a man and a woman until death separates you.
Are you a woman dressing like a man or a man dressing like a woman, all that is sin. Deuteronomy 22: 5
Are you among those that take snuff, take cigarette and banned substances, that is sin. That is wickedness against your soul and against humanity.
All these people that bleach their body and turn yellow over night, that is sin.
I have not spoken this word to condemn you but to point out what is evil thereby enabling you to amend your ways.
The unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Proverbs 28: 13; John 14: 6; John 1: 29; John 10: 10b; Matthew 11: 28; John 1: 12; 2 Corinthians 5: 17
As you give your life to Jesus Christ and begin to live the life of the kingdom of God, I am assuring you, that the showers of blessings shall come upon you and heaven will sustain them in Jesus name.
