Text: Deuteronomy 8:18, 2 Corinthians 12:9

Theme: HIS GRACE IS SUFFICIENT

Memory Verse: “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes, he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.” (2 Corinthians 8:9)

This might not be the best of times in our nation today. This is because of the numerous challenges we are going through which have become a threat to our peace. As a result of these challenges, every facet of our daily life has been adversely affected – the economic, and social life especially. There is inflation, unemployment, high cost of living, and low standard of living. If these indices are to be considered, it is simple to conclude that people cannot prosper under this situation. Nevertheless, as children of God, our confidence is that the grace of God is sufficient unto us and by it, we shall prosper and experience showers.

The grace of God has paved the way for us to enter into God’s showers of blessings and to aspire to any level of success irrespective of the prevailing circumstances. This is because His grace is made perfect in weakness. the grace of God thrives in humanly impossible situations. This means, that the grace of God is made more effective when we do not possess the wherewithal to overcome. To impart this grace, Jesus Christ had to relinquish His riches and became poor, so that we can take advantage of His poverty to become rich. It is noteworthy that by His sacrifice, He exchanged our poverty for riches thereby opening the doorway to abundance.

It is also for this reason of grace that God reminds us in our lead text for today that He is the One that gives us the power to make wealth. With this beautiful piece of news, the sky becomes not even our limit, but our starting point. We now have the enabling grace to aspire as high as possible. So, do not be distracted by the present economic realities. They do not possess the power to alter the word of God.

It is because of this grace that many believers became millionaires during the lockdown. Some built new houses and moved into them during the same period. Others bought cars and experience God’s showers of blessings. The same grace is still available today. All you need to do is to tap from it. Just reconcile with God through His Son Jesus Christ by way of repentance and salvation.

Then, go ahead and accept Him into your life to be your Lord and personal Saviour. Ask for the grace and it will be activated in your life.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

  1. By the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, I receive fresh grace to make it in life, in Jesus’ name.
  2. By the reason of what Jesus Christ accomplished on the cross of Calvary, I exchange every poverty for wealth and riches, in Jesus’ name.
  3. I command the anointing to prosper, excel and make it in life to receive activation in my life, in Jesus’ name.
  4. Let the anointing for overwhelming blessings rest upon our G. O and his family, in Jesus’ name.
  5. Father, we declare with our mouths that we do not want any war in our nation. Therefore, let every program of war be halted, in Jesus’ name.
