Memory Verse: “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (2Timothy 1:7)
If you have the feeling that you are inferior to other people, there is no way you will enter into God’s abundance. This is because you will always have the feeling that some kinds of blessings belong to other categories of persons; of which you are not qualified to be among them. This is usually the plan of the devil through the spirit of inferiority complex to make you feel timid and stop you from accomplishing your destiny. Inferiority makes you feel you are a lesser being, even though God has created you and given you equal opportunities to succeed like every other person.
An inferiority complex makes you fear and be afraid. God keeps on declaring that He has not given us the spirit of fear, but that of boldness and courage. He knows that when we allow such spirits to operate in our lives, our destinies become stagnated and our future mortgaged into the hands of wicked evil spirits. Therefore, you need to understand that the fear of the unknown, of the future, of failure, of poverty, etc, hunting you down is not of God. Therefore, you must rise to banish them from your life.
Many professed believers today are held down by the spirit of inferiority complex which puts fear in them and hinders them from aspiring like others and giving up along the way when they feel frustrated. That must stop. The time for you to understand your rights in the kingdom has come. The time for you to take your rightful place in the scheme of things is now. Awake from your spiritual slumber-state and collect that which rightly belongs to you. In this direction, you must stand to be counted. It is time for you to restore your trust and confidence in God. Stop wondering how you will overcome or make it. Believe that God is there for you and put your hope and faith in Him.
So, whenever that unpleasant situation tends to threaten your peace, joy, and overall existence, do not feel inferior. Remember all the past testimonies God has done in your life and even those He had wrought in the lives of other people and realize within you that He can do it again. To increase your faith and douse every fear, try to go about preaching the word of God in and out of season and telling others what God is doing in the lives of His people including you. By so doing, you will move the hand of God to even do more for you so that people will see it and glorify His name.
So, whenever that feeling of inferiority mixed with fear comes to knock you off balance, send faith to go and dismantle it and watch it vanish away.
Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:
- O God, by the power and authority in the name of Jesus Christ, I command the spirit of boldness and courage to possess me and begin to operate in my life, in Jesus’ name.
- In the name of Jesus Christ, I cast out every spirit of inferiority complex, fear, doubt, and discouragement working in my life, in Jesus’ name.
- By the power and authority in the name of Jesus Christ, I receive fresh grace and enablement to achieve the impossible, in Jesus’ name.
- Any spirit assigned to attack the boldness and confidence of our G. O and our Mommy in the Lord as a way to hinder them from fulfilling the obligation of the gospel; be frustrated by the Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ name.
- Every satanic program and agenda to unleash war, mayhem, and bloodshed upon this nation; be frustrated by the Holy Ghost, in Jesus’ name.
