Text: Philippians 4:13, Philippians 4:15-19

Theme: ABUNDANCE IS IN CHRIST

Memory Verse: “I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly. (John 10:10b)

When we talk about having an abundance of all things, many people might be tempted to shift their thoughts towards their human capabilities and sometimes arrive at the conclusion that they lack the requirements to have or operate in abundance. Sometimes, they consider their educational qualifications, socio-economic status, etc, and conclude that there is no way for them. All these are erroneous assessments, which undermine the power of Christ in them.

The abundance of all things is in Christ. Yes. he is the One that paid the ultimate prize for the sin of man and restored him to his earlier glory. That is to say, that through Jesus’ death and resurrection, we receive fresh grace to do all things. Through Him, we have access to divine provisions, sound health, long life, and prosperity all of which culminate in the abundance of all things. Through Him, we operate in power. (John 1:12) For the reason of the abundance of all things, Jesus Christ Himself declared, “I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)

Are you seeking abundance from the world and men and women of fame? Search no more because abundance lies in what Jesus Christ accomplished on the cross of Calvary. He died that we might live again. The bible says that our iniquities were laid upon Him and by His stripes, we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5) He came as a mortal man to demonstrate that there is no limit to which we can rise as humans. He took the punishment for the sin of man and declared, “It is finished.” By that declaration, He brought to an inglorious end the power of sin and death, which earlier on were man’s factors of limitation. By this victory, He took away every stumbling block standing between us and God’s abundance, which man earlier on enjoyed in the Garden of Eden.

Therefore, by His death and resurrection, we are restored to the abundance of all things. Therefore, stop looking for abundance in the hands of mortal men. The bible says, “Do not glory in men; for all things are yours.” All you need to do at this point is to settle every rift with God by way of salvation through Jesus Christ. Accept Him into your life to be your Lord and personal Saviour. Then ask for abundance of all things and you will begin to experience it in your life. You will have an abundance of peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. Therein you shall find the strength to access other areas of abundance including material, financial, career, job, business, academic, etc.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

  1. I decree and declare that I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.
  2. By God’s faithfulness, I decree and declare that He shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
  3. By the reason of what Jesus Christ achieved on the cross of Calvary, I exchange every poverty for an abundance of all things, in Jesus’ name.
  4. I decree abundance of God’s supernatural grace and anointing upon our G. O and Mommy in the Lord, in Jesus’ name.
  5. Lord, we pray for peace in this nation. Let every war plan be canceled, in Jesus’ name.
