Theme: ABUNDANCE THRIVES IN FAITHFULNESS

Memory Verse: “And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own?” (Luke 16:12)

Many people desire to have abundance, but they are not faithful to anything committed to their care. As a true believer in Christ, you are supposed to be faithful to whatever is committed to your care. When you are faithful to the little committed into your care, you stand a better chance of entering into abundance because more will be committed to your care. Today, many people go to work late and write whatever time pleases them on the attendance register and yet collect full salaries at the end of the month. Sometimes, they leave even before the closing time, falsify documents and figures and steal the company’s funds until the company folds up. Then they open their own companies expecting those working under them to be faithful.

Many companies and organizations established through the sweat of the owners have closed up because those they brought in to work with them including family members were not faithful and looted the places. Sometimes, after stealing the company’s funds, they go on to establish their businesses and then the law of retributive justice begins to hunt them. They discover that their workers are also not committed and do the same things they did when they worked under other people. Maybe you are going through a similar experience today, you need to understand that you are the architect of your misfortune from the very beginning because you were not faithful regarding the way you handled other people’s businesses. That is why our memory verse for today says if you have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own?” If you are faithful in that which is little, you will also be faithful in that which is big and if you are unfaithful in little things, you will also be unfaithful in big things.

As a young apprentice trusted with your master’s goods, have you opened a bank account and depositing money inside without your master’s knowledge? That is unfaithfulness. Have you been stealing his money to buy lands and take women to eateries and boutiques? That is also unfaithfulness. And today, your business has refused to prosper because of how you handled other people’s businesses committed into your care and squandered it. If you are to come out from such a dilemma, you must repent and do the necessary restitution concerning how you treated other people and ask God for mercy. First, give your life to Jesus Christ and accept Him to be your Lord and Saviour. Then ask for mercy.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

  1. O God my Father, forgive my unfaithfulness, in Jesus’ name.
  2. Today, I realize my mistakes and ask for forgiveness, in Jesus’ name.
  3. By your mercy, touch my business and cause it to grow, in Jesus’ name.
  4. Father, provide our G. O and Mommy in the Lord the enabling grace to remain faithful unto your service, in Jesus’ name.
  5. Father, grant our nation peace, in Jesus’ name.
