God Has Sworn To Bless You ( Pt 2 )

TOPIC: GOD HAS SWORN TO BLESS YOU – PART 2

Text: Genesis 22: 16-18; 2 Chronicles 7: 14 & 15; Haggai 2: 19

Our Father in heaven has SWORN to bless us and cannot lie. He cannot alter his promises. He cannot alter the word that comes forth from his mouth.

Titus 1: 2
In this scripture highlighted, God Almighty is described as God that cannot lie.
Whatever the Lord says, he brings it to pass. He watches over his word to perform it.

Psalm 89: 33 & 34
Whatever God says, he cannot alter it.

Yesterday we could see all around us that the Lord has visited to  bless us and today shall be the climax of the blessings in Jesus name.
That God that took oath to bless Abraham, he has not changed and because of what you have done, today he will bless you.

Genesis 24: 1
Are you aware that God blessed Abraham?
God blessed Abraham and gave him heaven at last.

The blessings of God maketh rich and added no sorrow to it.
The blessings of God shall come upon you.
You see today, whether you like it or not, blessings shall follow you.

The God that blessed Abraham, blessed the Israelites in times past.

Exodus 1: 7
You can see that indeed the Israelites were blessed because of the blessings and covenant he had with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
You can see that God will bless all that has come to this programme and  who will do the will of God .
Those who will repent of their sins and amend their ways, God will bless them.
Those who obey God and follow to do what has been done here toay; the Lord will bless you.

Genesis 12: 1-3
You can see from the above scriptures that Abraham was made a blessing and he remains a blessing till date.
You see you, from today God will make you a blessing.

Deuteronomy 28: 1-3
You see you, from this day henceforth, blessing will overtake you. You will not pursue blessings but blessings will pursue you.
Everywhere you go, blessings will follow you.

We shall consider this message under the following sub-headings:

1. A CALL FOR REPENTANCE AND THE REASONS.

We all should realise that God loves us to the extent that he has given us all things from the beginning of the world. He created us after his own image and likeness. God created us for his own pleasure and sent his only begotten son to die for me and for you.
Is that not love?
God Almighty loves me and you so much.

Genesis 1: 27 – 29
The point is that God created us in his own image and likeness. He created us for his worship and pleasure. He gave us all things.

Be reminded that even when our first parents sinned and did not repent, God still promised a remedy and said that the seed of the woman shall bruise the head of the serpent. You can see at that instance, how God planned for the salvation of mankind (Genesis 3: 15), through Jesus Christ.

When God sent away the first man from the garden of Eden, he sent the Lord Jesus Christ to recover man and everything that was lost through Adam. .

John 10: 10
Inferring from the above scripture, the devil did his worst through Adam. However Jesus Christ came to recover all that was lost, give us life in abundance and life eternal.
Jesus Christ did that because of his love that we might not do anything in absence of his love.

When you consider all the evil going on in the society, all the wickedness, corruption, bloodshed, abominations, all manner of criminality; Jesus Christ is here again pleading with us to repent and return to him in righteousness and he will forgive us and bless us like our father Abraham. He will heal us and heal the nations of the world because of you and me.

Recall that God said, “if I can find 50 righteous people in Sodom, I will not destroy Sodom because of the 50 people that are righteous in the land.
As you look around you, you will see that we are more than a 100 people here; and if all of us will live right, because of us, God will not destroy our nation. He will not destroy the world.
If we will live right, because of us, God will bless the earth through us. If only we can repent.
We must therefore obey the Lord as Abraham obeyed the Lord and God blessed him.

Genesis 22: 16-18
You can see that because Abraham obeyed God and through Abraham, nations were blessed.
All I want to let you know is that after this programme, something will happen.

Exodus 19: 5
If we obey the voice of God and repent to do his will and go on to serve him, honestly it shall be well with us.

2 Chronicles I7 : 13 & 14; Deuteronomy 28: 1
As we amend our ways today, God will hear.
In addition, God will bless us in all things.
The commandment has come forth and it is to all generations. If only you can obey his voice, the blessings shall come.
If we will do the will of God in every area, he will never depart from us and we shall be blessed.

John 8: 29
Jesus Christ testified that God is with him and always with him because he does the things that please God.
If therefore God be for you, who can stand against you?
If you do his will, he will bless you.

Romans 8: 31 & 32
If God did not withhold Jesus Christ,  what then do you think God will withhold from you? Nothing.
God that did not spare his own son will not spare anything to bless you
Please look up Philipians 4: 19.

How many things do you know that the Lord gave to Jesus Christ?  Let us learn from the following scripture. 

Matthew 11: 27
God Almighty gave Jesus Christ everything because he pleased God.
If you be a child of God and begin to live right, God will give you all things.

1 Corinthians 3: 21
All things belong to those that do the will of God.

Luke 15: 31
All I have is thine because you are always with me and you obey me and you do my will.
May I remind you my Sisters and Brothers, life is not by struggle.
Paul the Apostle understood life and said, “by the grace of God, I am what I am”. Not by power or by might.

Matthew 6: 33
The Bible says, all these things shall be added unto you. It is not by struggle.
You see you, after today you will experience the grace of God.
Things will work for you and any kingdom, power, spirit or man trying to oppose your blessings, God will burn them with fire.

May I remind you, the Bible makes us to understand that God is going to fight war in this time, our own time, in the time of the new testament, in the time of Jesus Christ; God is going to fight war with burning and flames of fire. That is why we call, HOLYGHOST FIRE.

He says this is what he will operate this time.
As the Spirit of God is released, fire will begin to burn. Any power that wants to stand on your way, that power will shout fire, fire, fire and fall down and die.

Some periods ago, I was praying in this place and there happened to be a woman in the Market who was tormenting one of our Brothers in the village. As I was praying here, she was shouting fire in the market and fell down.
We are not the cause. The Bible says, “thou shalt not suffer the witch to live”.

You see you here today, fire will torment your enemies.
They must repent or they will give you chance.
You see you, you must fulfil your years.
You see you, you will make progress in life.
You see you, you will overthrow your enemies and overtake them
From this day, something good will be your portion.

1. OUR RESPONSE AND BENEFITS.

As we obey the word of God as Abraham and Israelites of Old, by true repentance and complete obedience in righteousness, he is set to bless us.
He has sworn and nothing can stop him.
My friend God is a jealous God, he will never allow his name to be dragged in the mud. In view of his oath, God will bless you.

You see you, God Almighty who brought you here, he will not leave you nor forsake you.
As the file of heaven is open, your name is there through Jesus Christ.
You see you, your coming here will never be in vain.

Ezekiel 34: 26
I want to announce to you, Sisters and Brothers, there shall be showers of blessings for you. Amen

Haggai 2: 19
From this day, God will bless you.
What you should do is to seek forth the kingdom of God and its righteousness- Matthew 6:33

Nobody will go away the same. It is our turn to take advantage of the oath.
God blessed Abraham in all things and we shall be the next.

We should examine ourselves and make sure that nothing is standing between us and God.
If we are convicted of any evil, any unrighteousness, we should humble ourselves and repent, asking God for mercy concerning our past life, our past sin, for our past sin.

As we amend our ways and make up our minds to live right, God will bless us mightily in Jesus name.

Jeremiah 29: 11-14
As you seek God with all your hearts today, God will grant  you enabling grace to.live right.

Romans 4: 18-22
Do you believe that God will do what he said?
Abraham did not stagger, he believed God.

You see you, that problem that brought you here today, believe God and you shall see it no more.

Whatever the devil has destroyed shall be restored. Whatever has been stolen from you God will restore.

Joel 2: 26 & 27
People of God, you shall never be ashamed.  Anything that has been destroyed, God will recover for you.
All the evil shall be no more in Jesus name.
All the rising and falling shall be no more.
You see you, God will bless you. Amen.

Genesis 24: 1; Philipians 4: 19
God blessed Abraham in all things. That shall be our portion.

Matthew 7: 7 & 8
For everyone that asketh, receiveth. My friend, you will surely receive today.

As I conclude this message, It is important to call the attention of those who are not yet born-again, Backsliders or Compromisers. They should confess their sins, repent and surrender all to Jesus Christ.

Confess your sins and accept Jesus Christ today as your Lord and personal Saviour.
A Christian is not a Sinner and a Sinner is not a Christian.
1 John 3: 8 & 9; 1 John 5: 17a; 1 Corinthians 6: 9.

All unrighteousness is sin.
You may be asking, “what is sin?”
Unbelief is sin. Selfishness is sin; Covetousness is sin, Insincerity is sin; pride is sin, backbiting, murmuring, speaking evil of others, these are terrible sin.
Going to native doctors, going for divination and palm reading, all that is terrible wickedness. No child of God does that.
If you are into stealing, any form of stealing; stealing from Government, stealing from companies and individuals, that is sin. Amend your ways.
If you are there and you are involved into armed robbery, duping people, do not bring such money to this Church.

If you are among those people that are involved in fornication, adultery, homosexuality, lesbianism, abortion, that is terrible wickedness.
Fighting and quarreling, smoking and drunkenness all these are evil. Ask for the mercy of God.

Are you into fighting and quarreling? Are you disobedient to your husband or you are beating your wife, that is sin.
Are you into any kind of killing, poisoning people, hired assassin? Confess that sin and amend your ways. Promise God you will not return to that wickedness.
Are you into divorce? That is sin.
Matthew 19: 4-6.

Are you into polygamous marriage or you have sent away your wife or you moved away from your husband, that is sin. Marriage is between a man and a woman until death separates you.
Are you a woman dressing like a man or a man dressing like a woman, all that is sin. Deuteronomy 22: 5
Are you among those that take snuff, take cigarette and banned substances, that is sin. That is wickedness against your soul and against humanity.

All these people that bleach their body and turn yellow over night, that is sin.
I have not spoken this word to condemn you but to point out what is evil thereby enabling you to amend your ways.
The unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Revelations 21: 8.
Why I am explaining this in detail is so that you can identify them and confess them. Proverbs 28: 13.

John 1: 29; John 3:16; John 19: 30; John 14:6; John 10: 10b; Matthew 11: 28; John 8:36; John 1: 12;
As many that will receive Jesus Christ today will receive the grace for righteousness, the power of sonship shall be granted to you.

As you give your life to Jesus Christ and begin to live the life of the kingdom of God,  as you obey my voice today and repent and also redeem your pledges,  my God, the God Almighty will bless you.
Romans 10: 13
Rise up and call upon him for your salvation in repentance.
Amend your ways and confess your sins. That old file shall be removed and a new file will be given on your behalf.
