TOPIC:  EXAMINE YOURSELVES AND BE READY FOR NO ONE KNOWS THE HOUR

Text: Mark 13: 32-37;  2 CorinthIans 13: 5; Hebrews 10: 36-39;

As we all are waiting for the rapture of the Saints, when the Lord shall appear in the air with his holy Angels. This is the next programme that is in God’s agenda for the Church.
The Bible made it clear in the holy scriptures that this event will take place in a matter of moments.

1 Cors 15: 51-52
It will be in a moment. There will be no time for preparation on that day. This is why the life that we live today should be a life of continuous self examination. We should make sure that nothing is standing between us and God.
This is the time of grace and therefore If you are not saved in the time of grace you cannot be saved in that very period that is after the rapture.

After the rapture, there will be no room for repentance.

SOME POINTS TO CONSIDER:

1. THE REASONS, PREPARATION REQUIRED AND UNFORTUNATE SITUATION.

We have heard numerous messages on restoration, holy ghost baptism and the accompanying power. We have also received several messages.
This is the time for us to examine ourselves.
Examine whether you are saved or you are just paying lip service to these messages.
Examine your self whether our Lord Jesus Christ is in you and whether you are qualified for heaven.

You should be the best judge to yourself on whether you are a child of God.
If you do not repent of your sins, that sin can never be forgiven.
Where you do not repent, you shall be found wanting.

Judge yourself, amend yourself now.
Matthew 5:‐8‐
If there is no righteousness, forget about seeing God.

Jeremiah 7: 3-11
Do not engage yourself in anything that is outside righteousness.

The unfortunate situation is that many people are so carefree and exhibit careless attitude.
Such people should know that such practices are not acceptable in the sight of the Lord.

Can two walk together except they agree?
Amend your ways.
Are you full of covetousness and pride of life? Amend your ways.

Are you the one that is not concerned with preparation for the second coming of the Lord? May i remind you that many have gone and there is no repentance in the grave.

Mark 8: 36
There are several wealthy men that have lived before us and when they departed this world none of their earthly accumulations accompanied them to the grave.
What can a man give in exchange for his soul?

2 Timothy 2: 4
We must avoid entanglement and distractions.
If you are handling any position or affairs of this world, please do it with light hand. Do not allow the things of this world to capture your soul.

We brought nothing into this world and it is certain we shall carry nothing out.

1 Corinthians 7: 35
We must be resolute and attend unto the Lord without distractions

1. OUR EXPECTED RESPONSE, WARNING AND DANGER OF NEGLECT.

We all should examine ourselves and ensure that nothing is standing between us and God.

Songs of Solomon 2: 15
You must search your life and take away the little foxes that pollute your soul and  hinder you from unrighteousness.

We should make sure of genuine salvation and true righteousness on every side.
We all should commit our time and do everything in the fear.
Anywhere you are, let the fear of God be your Pastor.

Proverbs 3: 7
Wherever you are and whether any man or woman knows you, depart from every appearance of evil.

We all must be warned that there is no more time. No man knows the hour.

Matthew 24: 29-33, 35- 42
Take note that very shortly, the event of rapture will take place.
No matter the cry or repentance on that day, it shall be rejected. That day is not a day of repentance.

Matthew 24: 3, 7-8
The period the Lord is talking about will be a period of sorrow for those that are not ready for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. It will be a period of sorrow for those who refuse to repent.

Jesus Christ is coming any moment from now. Make sure you are getting ready. There shall be no room for repentance on that day.

It is important to point out that no man or woman knows the day of their passing away. As a result, even if the rapture does not place immediately, you should be ready in case the Lord calls you home.
No man has ever lived forever on this earth.

There is life after death. If you refuse to do the will of God, when you die you will go to hellfire.

Hebrews 9: 27
If you repent and live your life after the will of God, you shall be accepted unto glory after death. Child of God, do you know you have a mansion in heaven?
My prayer is that you will see heaven and be in heaven.
You shall never go to hellfire.

Read Matthew 25: 1-10.
Do not be a careless Christian. Heaven is real and hellfire is real.

Everyone should prepare at any moment and be ready for we do not know when the trumpet shall sound.

For those who are not yet born-again, I want to remind you a Christian is not a Sinner and a Sinner is not a Christian. 1 John 3: 8 & 9

Confess your sins and accept Jesus Christ today as your Lord and personal Saviour.
Romans 3:23;  1 John 5: 17a; Isaiah 59: 1;

Unbelief is sin. Selfishness is sin; Covetousness is sin, Insincerity is sin; backbiting, murmuring, speaking evil of others, these are terrible sin.
Going to native doctors, going for divination and palm reading, all that is terrible wickedness. No child of God does that. If you are into stealing, any form of stealing; stealing from Government, stealing from companies and individuals, that is sin. Amend your ways.
If you are there and you are involved into armed robbery, duping people, do not bring such money to this Church.

If you are among those people that are involved in fornication, adultery, homosexuality, lesbianism, abortion, that is terrible wickedness.
Fighting and quarreling, smoking and drunkenness all these are evil. Ask for the mercy of God.

Are you into fighting and quarreling? Are you disobedient to your husband or you are beating your wife, that is sin.
Are you into any kind of killing, poisoning people, hired assassin? Confess that sin and amend your ways. Promise God you will not return to that wickedness.
Are you into divorce? That is sin.
Matthew 19: 4-6.

Are you into polygamous marriage or you have sent away your wife or you moved away from your husband, that is sin. Marriage is between a man and a woman until death separates you.
Are you a woman dressing like a man or a man dressing like a woman, all that is sin. Deuteronomy 22: 5
Are you among those that take snuff, take cigarette and banned substances, that is sin. That is wickedness against your soul and against humanity.

All these people that bleach their body and turn yellow over night, that is sin.
I have not spoken this word to condemn you but to point out what is evil thereby enabling you to amend your ways.
The unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

As you give your life to Jesus Christ and begin to live the life of the kingdom of God,  I am assuring you, that power shall come upon you.
