EASTER RETREAT 2021 MESSAGE.
TOPIC: GOD’S COVENANT OF PEACE AND BLESSINGS ( PART 1 )
Text: 2 Chronicles 15: 1-12, 15 & 19; Matthew 6: 33; John 16: 33
Our God being our Creator is the Master of all things, the Master of all life circumstances; Master of all beings. He is the Father of all Spirits. Every spirit is subject to him.
Genesis 1: 1; Psalm 24: 1; Psalm 116:1
Everything belongs to God because he is the Maker. He is the Creator..
I want you to understand that the heavens and earth belong to God.
Psalm 121: 1
God made the Heavens and earth.
Colossians 1: 16
Everything was created by God and everything consists of him
God is the giver of life. He is the giver of all things.
Without God in family, Community, State or Country, there will be no real blessings or peace. Rather it will be troubles, wickedness and destruction.
This is why trouble has almost eaten up the world today.
In the absence of the true God, when men have isolated God, there will be no peace.
In the present world, destruction and troubles are the order of the day.
2 Chronicles 15: 1-5
The Israelites were without the true God. This happened to them for a long season. You need to understand something, that in those times, they had no peace. God allowed trouble to come upon them for forsaking God.
This is the same situation we find ourselves in the present world.
Corruption, wickedness, wanton destruction of lives and properties etc. We might say that the present generation is serving God, but they are not serving God in sincerity.
Nonetheless, we thank God that today is a day of renewal of covenant with God.
Isaiah 57: 20
If everybody decides to isolate God and to live in sin, there shall be no peace. This is because there is no peace for the wicked. When you are in enemity with your earthly father, you cannot have peace. How much more when you are in enemity with the God of Heavens and earth? You can never find peace.
I therefore congratulate all that has made it to this programme today as you have decided to come and make peace with God and peace with one another. This Covenant of peace and blessings shall follow you home.
Remember that in the days of King Asa as recorded in 2 Chronicles 15, the people made up their mind to seek God with all their hearts. I want to let you know that our God is the covenant keeping God. He will never disappoint as many that will make up their minds to seek this great God. Honestly peace, protection and blessings shall be restored to you.
Joel 2: 25-27
You see you, after today, God shall cancel shame in your life. You shall know that God is in the midst of Chosen.
After this programme, favour will follow you. Blessings and prosperity will follow you.
All the good things that were taken away from you, as you amend your ways, God will connect you to your Benefactor.
All of you watching me from all over the world, and all of you that are here, favour shall follow you, protection shall follow you.
John 10: 10
Abundance of life shall be your portion. Everybody in this programme should make up their mind to pursue after this great God.
Today there shall be showers of blessings.
You see after this programme, you will see that something will begin to change every where.
As i deliver this message, you will be delivered.
2 Chronicles 7: 13-14
If the Heavens have been closed over you, listen to this message.
As repentance comes forth today, the eyes of God will be open, his ears will be open and he shall attend to all the prayers made in this place.
Jeremiah 29: 11-14
Listen to me, as we turn to the Lord today with all our hearts, I want you to know that God has a good plan for you. I do not know what you are looking for, but God will do it for you.
Ezekiel 34: 25-27
I am assuring you, that God will do something good for you as you enter into this covenant. There shall be increase in your life and business.
SOME POINTS TO CONSIDER:
- THE URGENT NEED FOR THIS COVENANT AND REASONS
When it is clear that our relationship with the true God and our Creator is broken, we must not hesitate to seek to enter into covenant with God to remedy our ways and begin to live right. We must run back to God and say we are sorry.
When there is no Peace and progress in a person’s life, when there is crisis every where, when the human agents of the devil are on rampage, the only solution is God. We therefore need to enter into covenant with God to live right.
2 Chronicles 15: 1 -8
In your trouble turn to the Lord like Asa did.
All the Israelites joined Asa to seek the Lord. Take note that when there are challenges in the land and we fold our hands, the devil will have his way.
We must be purposeful in seeking God. This is not a time to be looking somewhere else away from God for solution.
Man cannot save you; money cannot save you.
Isaiah 17: 7 & 8
In that time as described in the above scriptures, we should look up to our Maker. No man should think he can save himself.
Isaiah 45: 22- 23
You must look unto God. He will give you deliverance and keep you free from trouble.
Sometimes you see many people who run to Native Doctors, crying and weeping.
Look up to God all that are in the world and be you saved.
When the enemy has caused problem in your life because you have turned your back against God, is it the same enemy you will run to for solution? Do not make that mistake.
Matthew 13: 24-30
If you want to handle what the enemy has done against you, you can make a lot of mistakes and destroy yourself. It is only God that has the remedy to what the enemy has done. We should at such time break-off ties and activities with the devil and their human Agents.
Remember the case of Jacob, who instead of going to seek to reconcile with his brother, he rather spent the entire night seeking the face of God on the matter.
Genesis 32: 22-25
Jacob kept everything aside and went to pray, wrestling with a man all through the night. After that encounter, God changed his name from Jacob to a Nation.
I want to let you know that all of you that have left everything you are doing to seek the face of God in this Easter Retreat, in view of the troubles you are into, I am assuring you that God will change you to a Nation.
I do not know the problems you are into, let us meet with God.
The reason is that only God can give us permanent victory over the demons and devil.
Psalm 62: 11
As God is the owner of power, if you rely on him, he will give you victory over all powers and demons.
Jeremiah 32: 27
I am assuring you, no matter the problem, God is equal to the task and he will deal with all your enemies.
There is something we need to take note of: Consider the following scripture:
Isaiah 43: 10-13
If God steps into your situation, any power that is standing against you shall be crushed by the power of God.
We are not fighting against man. The devil is our number One enemy. It is not that your brother, uncle or relative.
2 Corinthians 10: 3-6
If you want to fight and have victory, you must enter into covenant with God.
When you enter into covenant relationship with God and you are no longer amongst the disobedient spirits, God will fight for you and bring down every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.
As far as battle in life is concerned, that battle is not for you. What you need to do is to seek God with all your heart.
As God takes over your situation from today, any man trying to fight you, that battle is no longer yours.
Today marks the beginning of a new era in your life.
Anywhere you go, you shall be protected. Any man, any woman that tries to destroy you, shall destroy themselves. This will be your portion beginning from today.
As you return to the true God, he will restore all you have lost.
Joel 2: 23-27
As we enter into this covenant today, there shall be restoration. I do not know what you have lost. However you shall go home with these blessings.
Ezekiel 34: 25 & 26
Evil beast that is ravaging and causing trouble in Nigeria will cease.
You see you, you shall dwell safely in Nigeria. Calamities will never befall you. We shall live in peace. Enemies will never thwart it.
You see you, whether your enemies like it or not, when the Lord has decided to do a thing, no power shall hinder it.
You see you Chosen People, this time around wherever you dwell, no evil shall happen there.
People of God, I have taught you concerning authority of Believers. We are reigning with Christ. Whatever you bind here on earth shall be bound forever in heaven.
What you say, will hold in heaven.
As we enter into covenant relationship with God, to live right and do his will, I am assuring you protection will come upon you, authority will be given to you.
- OUR RESPONSE AND THE BENEFITS.
Everyone present in this easter retreat must enter into covenant with God knowing that without him we can do nothing.
John 15: 4 & 5
We must enter into covenant with God. No body can fight spirits that cannot be seen with physical eyes.
When we are connected with God, he will fight for us against spirits without body.
1 Samuel 17:
You see you, all your goliath shall be killed in the name of the Lord.
Everything that is working against your future, career, promotion shall be destroyed in the name of the Lord.
Exodus 14: 13 & 14
You see you today, all the kingdoms and alters fighting you they shall be buried in the Red Sea of the Lord.
Nobody can talk about permanent peace, solution and progress unless God is with you. No wonder those of Old sought him and entered into covenant to seek God with all their hearts.
You see you, after today there shall be no more wars.
Many Men of Old, relied on God.
Remember the Psalmist, remember Abraham; remember Paul the Apostle.
If you have God, you can boast. You can do all things. You shall be protected.
Remember Shedrach, Meshach and Abednego
You see you, in that yard, office, market place wherever there is magical fire of the enemy, it shall never touch you. As Shedrach, Meshach and Abednego survived the fire and the fire had no effect on them, that fire can never subdue you
There are many lions here and there looking for people to eat and destroy. People of God it is not for you. I am assuring you, no lion shall kill you.
Elijah the great man of God, made a declaration over the land that there will be no rain for Three and half years and heaven stood by it.
You see you, as God be with you, you shall be strong and do exploits.
People of God let us go to Mount Carmel.
People of God, the children that the world has been waiting for will soon manifest before the emergence of rapture.
As we repent and reconcile with God, and make peace with one another, the assurance I am giving to you is that everything that was lost shall be restored.
As amend with him and enter into covenant to serve God and do his will, God will respect the covenant and bring every one of us into peace with him.
Take note Romans 8: 31 & 32 says if God be for us, who can be against us.
God will give us all things.
1 Corinthians 3: 21
Henceforth until Jesus comes, all things shall be yours.
For the sinners and Backsliders, they should repent and surrender all to Jesus Christ.
Confess your sins and accept Jesus Christ today as your Lord and personal Saviour.
Romans 3:23; 1 John 3: 8 & 9; 1 John 5: 17a; Isaiah 59: 1;
Unbelief is sin. Selfishness is sin; Covetousness is sin, Insincerity is sin; backbiting, murmuring, speaking evil of others, these are terrible sin.
Going to native doctors, going for divination and palm reading, all that is terrible wickedness. No child of God does that. If you are into stealing, any form of stealing; stealing from Government, stealing from companies and individuals, that is sin. Amend your ways.
If you are there and you are involved into armed robbery, duping people, do not bring such money to this Church.
If you are among those people that are involved in fornication, adultery, homosexuality, lesbianism, abortion, that is terrible wickedness.
Fighting and quarreling, smoking and drunkenness all these are evil. Ask for the mercy of God.
Are you into fighting and quarreling? Are you disobedient to your husband or you are beating your wife, that is sin.
Are you into any kind of killing, poisoning people, hired assassin? Confess that sin and amend your ways. Promise God you will not return to that wickedness.
Are you into divorce? That is sin.
Matthew 19: 4-6.
Are you into polygamous marriage or you have sent away your wife or you moved away from your husband, that is sin. Marriage is between a man and a woman until death separates you.
Are you a woman dressing like a man or a man dressing like a woman, all that is sin. Deuteronomy 22: 5
Are you among those that take snuff, take cigarette and banned substances, that is sin. That is wickedness against your soul and against humanity.
All these people that bleach their body and turn yellow over night, that is sin.
I have not spoken this word to condemn you but to point out what is evil thereby enabling you to amend your ways.
The unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Proverbs 28: 13; John 14: 6; John 1: 29; John 10: 10b; Matthew 11: 28; John 1: 12; 2 Corinthians 5: 17
As you give your life to Jesus Christ and begin to live the life of the kingdom of God, I am assuring you, that power shall come upon you.
