THURSDAY DELIVERANCE SERVICE MESSAGE

Text: Psalm 136:23-26, Isaiah 49:15, Malachi 3:6, Hebrews 13:5-6, 8.

Topic: AS GOD REMEMBERED THEM

Maybe you are going through many challenges in life, even now, you have tried everything to be free but it is to no avail. You have even fasted and prayed and there still appears no hope. You have searched your life and there is nothing standing between you and God and you are wondering if God has forsaken you and why this ugly situation persists. Well, if that is your case, this message is for you.

Remember, God has not changed. Remember, those of old and how he delivered them, He will deliver you too( Psalm 50:15, Psalm 136:23)

    SUBHEADINGS:

1. THE REASONS AND EXAMPLE. Everything has a time or period that it will last and an appointed time for change or solution (Genesis 18:14, Ecclesiastes 3:1-5). Before God magnifies and gives you precious things, He will test you and drain you so that when the miracle comes, you will not be proud and let it destroy you. He wants to make you have implicit confidence in Him and be faithful ( Hebrews 11:6, Hebrews 12:1-3. ) We should follow after Jesus’s example. We should endure to the end ( Hebrews 12:5-12.) Whatever you are going through, Abraham also passed through all this with glory in His heart and faith ( Romans 4:19-22, 1st Peter 1:7, Hebrews 10:36-37).

Whatever you are going through now, many have gone through this and have come out stronger and blessed (1st Peter 2:20-21.)

Remember, our earthly father, Abraham and His wife, Sarah went through trials, Moses also went through trials and persecutions and God saw Him through. Even Job ,also went through a lot of trials and persecutions, but God blessed Him in the end . So, today, He will do the same for you.

2. OUR EXPECTED RESPONSE AND THE BENEFITS No matter what you are going through now, the Lord has not forsaken you (Isaiah 49:15.) It was just a trial and a way to be righteous. Remember, the people of God also went through persecutions and God remembered them ( Genesis 21:1-6.). Whatever your case may be, He will deliver you and bless you as He did for others ( Genesis 24:1, Matthew 11:4-5.) All these people, the Lord touched their lives and He will do the same for you
   ( Matthew 12:15).
   He has remembered you and has come for your needs to be met in this program
   ( Psalm 136:23, Psalm 50:15, Job 14:14, Matthew 7:7-8.)

For Sinners and Backsliders, confess your sins and accept Jesus Christ today as your Lord and personal Saviour (Romans 3:23, 1 John 3: 8 & 9, 1 John 5: 17a,Isaiah 59: 1).

Sin is dangerous. It is destructive and yet almost the whole world has gone into sin.
Unbelief is sin. Selfishness is sin; Covetousness is sin, Insincerity is sin; backbiting, murmuring, speaking evil of others, these are terrible sin.
Going to native doctors, stealing from Government, stealing from companies and individuals, that is sin.

If you are among those people that are involved in fornication, adultery, homosexuality, lesbianism, abortion; that is terrible wickedness.

Fighting and quarreling, smoking and drunkenness; all these are evil. Ask for the mercy of God.

Are you into polygamous marriage or you have sent away your wife or you moved away from your husband? that is sin.

Are you a woman dressing like a man or a man dressing like a woman, all that is sin.
The unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
