TEXT: Psalm 50:15, Jeremiah 15:20-21, John 14:13-14
TOPIC: AND I WILL DELIVER THEE
Many are going through many experiences in this life. Many of this people have done everything humanly possible to be free, but yet, the challenges still abound.
Many have given up hope to be saved or delivered, and have chosen to remain in their position. If you are going through this, there is no point of you giving up. He will deliver you (Psalm 50:15, Joel 2:32).
SUBHEADINGS:1: THE REASONS, NEED FOR DELIVERANCE, AND GOD’S PROMISES
God created us for His pleasure and does not share His glory. He cannot share His glory with sicknesses, problems or afflictions brought by the enemy (Revelations 4:11, Isaiah 42:8, John 8:36); But unfortunately, the devil, demons and human agents have done evil in the lives of people. The devil has no good thing to offer to humanity
(John 10:10a, Matthew 13:27-28).
Many are going through a lot of problems and challenges because of the enemy ( Romans 7:24). God has promises for His people (Jeremiah 15:20-22).
2: OUR EXPECTED RESPONSE AND THE BENEFITS.
No matter the area that you have been having challenges in this life, God's promises will be fulfilled in your life and you will be delivered. Whatever the case may be in which you need deliverance, God has given the commandment to break the yoke off your shoulders (Nahum 1:13-14). He has come down for your deliverance and it must surely come to pass ( Exodus 3:6-8, Exodus 3:10, John 5:17, Isaiah 43:13). God has done it before and He will do it again ( Psalm 34:6, Psalm 40:1).
For Sinners and Backsliders, confess your sins and accept Jesus Christ today as your Lord and personal Saviour (Romans 3:23, 1 John 3: 8 & 9, 1 John 5: 17a,Isaiah 59: 1).
Sin is dangerous. It is destructive and yet almost the whole world has gone into sin.
Unbelief is sin. Selfishness is sin; Covetousness is sin, Insincerity is sin; backbiting, murmuring, speaking evil of others, these are terrible sin.
Going to native doctors, stealing from Government, stealing from companies and individuals, that is sin.
If you are among those people that are involved in fornication, adultery, homosexuality, lesbianism, abortion; that is terrible wickedness.
Fighting and quarreling, smoking and drunkenness; all these are evil. Ask for the mercy of God.
Are you into polygamous marriage or you have sent away your wife or you moved away from your husband? that is sin.
Are you a woman dressing like a man or a man dressing like a woman, all that is sin.
The unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
