SUNDAY COMBINED SERVICE MESSAGE 11/10/20
TOPIC: THAT OUR ENEMIES MIGHT SUBMIT.
TEXT: Amos 4:12; Luke 14;17; Isaiah 45:22
Everyone should know that for our enemies to submit, we have to meet some conditions or requirements from God. We all know that our God is not a man. He is a Spirit, our creator, the king of Kings, the God of all gods , and the all knowing God. Meeting Him requires preparations, so everyone must do something as a matter of preparation.
Our father in heaven is set to do great things in this coming program and so we need to do those things that will make our enemies submit (1 Corinthians 10:3).
Take note, our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers.
1: THE REASONS, EXAMPLES AND COMMAND.
Everyone must know what to do from now and start doing them for our enemies to submit. Purity and holiness is required as a way of preparation (Mathew 5;8, Hebrew 12:14, 1 Thessalonians 5;22-23; 1 Peter 1:15-16.
If you want God to fight for you, you have to maintain purity (Habakkuk 1:13 ).
No spirit or power can stand before God. Be rest assured that come 7th & 8th November, your enemies must submit. Another way of preparation is by fasting and praying , let us begin from tomorrow to fast and pray for the program. I urge you , don’t be among those who are carnal and speak against the church (Mathew 4:1, Luke 18:1,1 Thessalonians 5:17, Ephesians 6:11-12;17).
Everyone should pray without ceasing, read your Bible, study it every day and night (Luke 14:17;22).
Let us also invite all to come, for all things are now ready. Examples abound in the Bible of those that prepared to meet God (Exodus 19:10-19, Joshua 3:5).
The children of Israel fasted and sanctified themselves for the great visitation at Mount Sinai (Mathew 4:23-26,Amos 4:12,Mathew 17:16-17, Mark 16:15, Luke 14;17).
2: OUR RESPONSE AND EFFECTS.
We should go into thorough preparation for this program. We must pray , fast and ensure purity. Sanctify yourselves for the upcoming program (Psalm 145;11-12).
In this place, God has given many people salvation; the prostitutes, homosexuals , lesbians, armed robbers, ritualists etc. God has performed so many miracles.
If we must see the manifestation of God we need to prepare (Isaiah 45:22 )
God will give you the hidden treasured places . He will break the gates of brass on that day. The effect is ,multitude shall be here on that day and they shall be saved (Mathew 15:30-32, Mathew 12:15).
For Sinners and Backsliders, confess your sins and accept Jesus Christ today as your Lord and personal Saviour (Romans 3:23,1 John 3: 8 & 9, 1 John 5: 17a,Isaiah 59: 1).
Sin is dangerous. It is destructive and yet almost the whole world has gone into sin.
Unbelief is sin. Selfishness is sin; Covetousness is sin, Insincerity is sin; backbiting, murmuring, speaking evil of others, these are terrible sin.
Going to native doctors, stealing from Government, stealing from companies and individuals, that is sin.
If you are among those people that are involved in fornication, adultery, homosexuality, lesbianism, abortion; that is terrible wickedness.
Fighting and quarreling, smoking and drunkenness; all these are evil. Ask for the mercy of God.
Are you into polygamous marriage or you have sent away your wife or you moved away from your husband? that is sin.
Are you a woman dressing like a man or a man dressing like a woman, all that is sin.
The unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
