SATURDAY’S WORKERS MEETING MESSAGE

TEXT: Acts 8:1-4, Romans 8:28, Daniel 11:32.

TOPIC: TAKING ADVANTAGE OF A TIME LIKE THIS

Every believer should know that nothing can stand against us and nothing can happen without the permission of God( Amos 3:5-7)(Romans 8:28). So it is clear that whatsoever is happening today is known by God and it is working for our good and we have been commanded to preach the word(Mark 16:15). It is very clear that our primary objective in following the Lord is to preach the gospel(Matthew 4:19),for that is the business of our Lord(Luke 19:10)( Acts 10:38).

Although many have seen the church as a place of asking and receiving only without the primary purpose being fulfilled (1st Corinthians 15:19)(John 15:16). And so those that did it before, God confounded their language and scattered them(Genesis 11:4-9)(Acts 8:1-4).

POINT 1: THE REASONS AND GOD’S PLAN

We all should understand that nothing works against God and His true children. Everything is working for our good( Romans 8:28). Everyone should know this life and everything that is happening in the present day is a promotional test! If you have not taken advantage of this time to do personal evangelism, self examination then it means that we are calling for a tougher test or exam because we must pass the test before the rapture. God created us for his pleasure so we should dedicate our lives to do the will of God( Revelations 4:11)( Matthew 4:19)(Acts 4: 4-8).

So we must make sure to pass the test no matter our condition or our troubles. We must go everywhere preaching the gospel because it is the proof of our true Christian life.

POINT 2: OUR EXPECTED RESPONSE AND THE EFFECT

Although God has opened the places to confirm His word, but have we acted like the apostles who in the midst of their troubles went everywhere preaching the word?( Amos 3:5-7). God allows everything that happens and so He wants us to take advantage of this time to win souls and to make preparation for greater use for God in our lives(Amos 4:12). So we must come out of the Christianity of pleasure, the Christianity of asking and receiving, the Christianity of selfishness and enter the Christianity of doing the totality of the will of God( Matthew 10:28-30 )(Matthew 4:19).

So ,if you’re not a fisher of men, you have to start today. We have to do the totality of the will of God in order to be pure. Matthew 5:8. We must be free from selfishness(Matthew 10:28).

In order to make Heaven at last, we should forsake the things of the world and focus on heavenly matters, win souls and make sure nothing is standing between us and God( 2nd Corinthians 13:5)( Acts 14:22)( 2nd Timothy 3:10-12).

Don’t forget that before rapture takes place, as a child of God, you shall suffer persecutions but you need to go everywhere preaching the gospel and doing the totality of the will of God and at the end of this life, we shall all make Heaven at Last.

For Sinners and Backsliders, confess your sins and accept Jesus Christ today as your Lord and personal Saviour (Romans 3:23)( 1 John 3: 8 & 9)( 1 John 5: 17a)(Isaiah 59: 1).

Sin is dangerous. It is destructive and yet almost the whole world has gone into sin.
Unbelief is sin. Selfishness is sin; Covetousness is sin, Insincerity is sin; backbiting, murmuring, speaking evil of others, these are terrible sin.
Going to native doctors, stealing from Government, stealing from companies and individuals, that is sin.

If you are among those people that are involved in fornication, adultery, homosexuality, lesbianism, abortion; that is terrible wickedness.

Fighting and quarreling, smoking and drunkenness; all these are evil. Ask for the mercy of God.

Are you into polygamous marriage or you have sent away your wife or you moved away from your husband? that is sin.

Are you a woman dressing like a man or a man dressing like a woman, all that is sin.
The unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
