Topic: It’s Not Yet Time To Rest

Knowing fully that this is the end time, there is no more time and multitudes of people are not yet saved ( Joel 3:14), and yet, God Almighty will have all men to be saved ( 2nd Peter 3:9)(1st Timothy 2:4). And knowing this fact, we must not rest or feel arrived because we are saved (2nd Timothy 3:1).

It’s not yet time to rest because we are in the last days; the dangerous times ( Acts 14:22). So everyone of us should be awake to our responsibilities (Acts 20:28).

We should understand that now that the rapture has not taken place, we should handle our responsibilities to ourselves, to those that are saved and to those that are unsaved. There is great battle going on, so we should not rest ( Ephesians 6:10,11-12).
We must arise and fight with weapons
(Ezekiel 9:1).

1: THE REASONS AND OUR CALLING

We all saw and experienced what happened and what is happening in the coronavirus measures. The devil targeted the church, to destroy the church and to divert people’s minds from the church. So while the world is still searching for a cure or vaccine for the disease, God is healing and delivering many people through the prayers of the saints.
What the devil planned was total destruction, but thank God for those who stood in the gap.

So, we should not rest but we should be ready and prayerful with weapons so that the Devil will not take us unawares again. We must stand in the gap and be ready for any other way that the devil could strike
( 2nd Timothy 3:1).

We should understand that the devil and his agents are fighting ceaselessly, so we should not sleep and we should not rest.

God Almighty has called us and commissioned us to fulfill the three fold vision and 10 billion souls mandate. These visions must be fulfilled and to fulfill this visions,
we need to be on our duty post (Matthew 4:19, Mark 16:15, John 15:16). So if that be the case, we should not rest until this vision is fulfilled and we make Heaven at last ( Hebrews 4:9, Isaiah 51:9, Isaiah 51:17, Psalm 52:1). So this is the time for us to awake out of slumber and work.

2: OUR EXPECTED RESPONSE AND THE DANGER OF NEGLECT

Everyone of us should know that we are specially chosen for this end time battle, so we should not tarry or relent and we should work tirelessly until we fulfill this vision and mandate, no matter the situation ;come what may, until the sound of the trumpet ,let us labor until we fulfill our vision and we shall go to wear our crown in Heaven (2nd Timothy 4:6-8).

We must fight to the end. No one should think that the battle is over ( Acts 14:22, 2nd Timothy 3:1). And so, as the dangerous times are here, we should not sleep or faint, but we should fight and curtail the tribulations ( Isaiah 6:8).

Let us be ready and be awake (2nd Timothy 3:1, Romans 13:11-13). We need to preach in season and out of season. We need to fast and pray ( Isaiah 6:8). 

Let us make ourselves available for God (Isaiah 6:10). So everyone should awake to our duty post and stand in the gap with our weapons for both the saved and unsaved multitudes (Isaiah 51:20-23).

You are an instrument in the hands of God so don’t be afraid but make yourself available( Psalm 91: 1-16, Ezekiel 9:1, Ephesians 6:10-12, Isaiah 51:9, Romans 13:11).

Let us wake up and do the will of God (Mark 16:15). Let us be on the move! Remember while He was here, He gave us the example of what we should do (Matthew 4:22-25, Matthew 9:35, 2nd Timothy 4:2, Luke 9:61).

Remember, how the devil attacked the world with this pandemic without our notice, so we should not allow him to do the same thing again (James 4:7)(2nd Thessalonians 2:7).

As we continue to pray, preach and win souls to the Kingdom, we shall wear our crowns and make Heaven at last.

For Sinners and Backsliders, confess your sins and accept Jesus Christ today as your Lord and personal Saviour (Romans 3:23, 1 John 3: 8 & 9, 1 John 5: 17a, Isaiah 59: 1).

Sin is dangerous. It is destructive and yet almost the whole world has gone into sin.
Unbelief is sin. Selfishness is sin; Covetousness is sin, Insincerity is sin; backbiting, murmuring, speaking evil of others, these are terrible sin.
Going to native doctors, stealing from Government, stealing from companies and individuals, that is sin.

If you are among those people that are involved in fornication, adultery, homosexuality, lesbianism, abortion; that is terrible wickedness.

Fighting and quarreling, smoking and drunkenness; all these are evil. Ask for the mercy of God.

Are you into polygamous marriage or you have sent away your wife or you moved away from your husband? that is sin.

Are you a woman dressing like a man or a man dressing like a woman, all that is sin.
The unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
