Topic: God Is Our Father
Everyone has the right to choose who is their God or who is their father but God is our father (Joshua 24:15). He is the creator of all things. He is the Almighty God and all spirits are subject to him( Isaiah 24:44)( Isaiah 45:23). He is our maker and our father and many people who are unaware of this fact choose to make other things, spirits even God’s creatures as their God and that is why they suffer without remedy(John 15:5)( Romans 8:31)(Matthew 6:33)(Luke 15:31).
You need to know Him as your Father to take all that belongs to you(John 8:29)( Philippians 4:19)( Psalm 50:15). Your father is waiting for you. Rely on Him(Jeremiah 33:3).
SUBHEADINGS:1: THE REASONS AND THE UNFORTUNATE SITUATION.
God Almighty, the creator of all things is our God. In fact, God is the father of all spirits( Genesis 1:1)( Genesis 1:26-27)( Hebrews 12:9). He created us for His pleasure and to serve Him and do His will (Revelations 4:11)(Exodus 5:1-3). Make sure you recognize Him as your God and Father and you will excel in life (Malachi 1:6). You should honor Him and make Him your father( Matthew 6:33).
The unfortunate situation all over the world is that Satan, demons, human agents, money, material things and even pleasures of the world are demanding our worship. Many people are worshipping these things and have neglected God( Exodus 5:1-3). The devil, things or demons did not create us and so they can never be our God(Exodus 20:2-5)(Jeremiah 10:11).
We all should recognize God and return to do His will and pleasure and we shall prosper(Exodus 5:1-3).
2: OUR EXPECTED RESPONSE AND THE BENEFITS.
No other God can save us or do like our father, our creator and our maker. There is no other being that can take care of you like our God(Isaiah 43:10-13). We should return to Him with all our heart to serve Him and do His pleasure and He will bless us abundantly(Revelations 4:11)( Matthew 6:33).
From today, as you make Him your father, you have to do His will( Matthew 11:27). So, we should turn our backs to Pharaoh and his gods. There is no other God like the God of heaven; So let’s honour Him( Exodus 3:7-8)( Matthew 6:9-11)(Mathew 7:7-11)( Philippians 4: 19)(1st Peter 5:7).
Make Him your father and amend your ways and as you go on to do so, He shall become your father and shall be blessed abundantly.
For Sinners and Backsliders, confess your sins and accept Jesus Christ today as your Lord and personal Saviour (Romans 3:23)( 1 John 3: 8 & 9)( 1 John 5: 17a)(Isaiah 59: 1).
Sin is dangerous. It is destructive and yet almost the whole world has gone into sin.
Unbelief is sin. Selfishness is sin; Covetousness is sin, Insincerity is sin; backbiting, murmuring, speaking evil of others, these are terrible sin.
Going to native doctors, stealing from Government, stealing from companies and individuals, that is sin.
If you are among those people that are involved in fornication, adultery, homosexuality, lesbianism, abortion; that is terrible wickedness.
Fighting and quarreling, smoking and drunkenness; all these are evil. Ask for the mercy of God.
Are you into polygamous marriage or you have sent away your wife or you moved away from your husband? that is sin.
Are you a woman dressing like a man or a man dressing like a woman, all that is sin.
The unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
