SATURDAY WORKER’S MEETING MESSAGE
TEXT: Revelations :1-6
TOPIC: STRENGTHEN THE THINGS WHICH REMAIN PT 1
Brethren we should understand that rapture of the saints is drawing very close and even at hand and signs which characterize the end abound everywhere as recorded in the following scriptures, Matthew 24:7-13. All these prophecies are being fulfilled in our very eyes( 2nd Timothy 3:1-6)( 2nd Thessalonians 2:3).
So now that all these scriptures are being fulfilled in our very eyes and many people have fallen away and many churches have withdrawn from evangelism and have became too cold, their members have backslidden in masses and complaining for money have become their only reason to go to church. They do not have any business with God anymore. So now that crises are everywhere in the world, we should pay attention to this warning and do something very seriously before it is too late, or anyone is affected in the falling away from God and the church.
The Lord is bringing this message to warn and caution us of the danger ahead for us to make amends and strengthen the things that remain so that none of us will miss the rapture of the saints.
SUBHEADINGS:
1: THE REASONS, WARNING AND THE THINGS THAT REMAINS, EXPLAINED
Our father is bringing this message to us because of His love and care so that we will not perish with others( Hebrews 12:6). We all should know that these are the very last days. The signs of His coming are being fulfilled everywhere and everyone should repent and stop making due with nothing or hypocrisy, but we should strengthen the things that remaineth (Mark 1:15). We must beware of this God , and he is warning us today. Jesus Christ is coming(Revelations 3:1-2)( Luke 13:5).
There is no more time. Let’s make sure that nothing is standing between us and God( Like 17:26-33). Let us make sure that we will not be like Lot’s wife and look back. Let us make sure to maintain the right relationship with God and move forward, and backward never ,so you will not be taken unawares when rapture takes place(Revelations 1:3)(Hebrews 10:25).
After we have received salvation ,we should not go back to sin anymore( Hebrews 10:31)( Hebrews 10:37)( Proverbs 29:1)( Proverbs 16:5).
Any person that hears the truth and refuses to do it, is a proud person. Having heard all this, we need to strengthen the things that matter and ensure that there is nothing standing between us and God before it will be too late( 2nd Corinthians 6:1)( Revelations 3:1)(Galatians 5:9)( 1st John 5:17a)( 1st Corinthians 6:9). Many members of the church, leaders, workers and pastors do not come to church which is contrary to the will of God! They do not pay their tithes. Some of them are always angry, they lie and are covetous. They do all sorts of evil even in the house of God. Get rid of all these things. Some commit immorality and do not even love God. Some come to church just to show their appearances, and some pastors preach just for preaching sake. If you are among them, search your life and amend before it is too late.
2: OUR RESPONSE AND THE DANGER
Everyone should examine their lives and their relationship with God and themselves. We should also examine and judge ourselves so that we cannot be judged( 1st Corinthians 11:31). Its examination, before it is too late (2nd Corinthians 13:5).
We cannot exchange holiness with works. It must be done in purity (Matthew 5:8)( Romans 2:1-6)(Romans 2:11)(Romans 2:16). We must all pause on our activities and reflect on our relationship with God and others. We must be prepared and ensure that we do not partake in unholy activities (Hebrews 12:14)(1st Peter 1:15-16).
We must keep to holiness. We must not be careless with our Christian life. Everyone must repent, correct and put their lives in order (Luke 22:33-37). Strengthen the things that remain (Revelations 3:1-6). Now is the acceptable time. The Lord is using this message to warn those who are not fully in the Lord. Everyone should know that we have no secrets from God(Numbers 32:23)( Romans 2:6).
Whatever you find lacking in your life, start doing it now. Start making amendments because the danger is terrible. Remember Lot’s wife( Luke 17:32)(Hebrews 12:16)( Luke 22:3-6)( Matthew 27:3).
So let us grow in purity and strengthen the things that matter so that we can be clothed with white.
For Sinners and Backsliders, confess your sins and accept Jesus Christ today as your Lord and personal Saviour (Romans 3:23)( 1 John 3: 8 & 9)( 1 John 5: 17a)(Isaiah 59: 1).
Sin is dangerous. It is destructive and yet almost the whole world has gone into sin.
Unbelief is sin. Selfishness is sin; Covetousness is sin, Insincerity is sin; backbiting, murmuring, speaking evil of others, these are terrible sin.
Going to native doctors, stealing from Government, stealing from companies and individuals, that is sin.
If you are among those people that are involved in fornication, adultery, homosexuality, lesbianism, abortion; that is terrible wickedness.
Fighting and quarreling, smoking and drunkenness; all these are evil. Ask for the mercy of God.
Are you into polygamous marriage or you have sent away your wife or you moved away from your husband? that is sin.
Are you a woman dressing like a man or a man dressing like a woman, all that is sin.
The unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
