THEME: EVERY COUNSEL AGAINST YOU SHALL BE UPTURNED

MEMORISE: I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness. (2 Samuel 15:31)

MESSAGE: 

Ahithophel was King David’s counsellor. His counsels during the period in question were second to none. 2 Samuel 16:23 records, And the counsel of Ahithophel, which he counselled in those days, was as if a man had inquired at the oracle of God: so was all the counsel of Ahithophel both with David and with Absalom.

That was the quality and effectiveness of Ahithophel’s counsels until he gave counsel against God’s elect and by David’s prayer God turned his counsel into foolishness. Ahithophel had given Absalom a counsel which undermined the integrity of David his father and as usual it was believed to be the counsel that would turn the people against David. But David prayed and asked God to turn Ahithophel’s counsel into foolishness. 

Therefore, the counsel of Ahithophel was not followed because the Lord had sought to defeat his counsel so that it was not followed. Rather, the counsel of Hushai the Archite was deemed a better counsel.

The enemy might have risen to give counsel to bring you down. The word of God is there to counter the counsel of the wicked against you no matter the quality of the counsel. Wherever they take the counsel, those behind it or the reason for the counsel, it shall be frustrated.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. Any evil counsel taken against me in any coven, temple, stronghold, altar or shrine; scatter by fire, in Jesus’ name.

2. Any gang-up, conspiracy, complicity and connivance or assembly of wickedness against my life; scatter by fire, in Jesus’ name.

3. Any monitoring mirror, spiritual television or computer programmed against my miracles and blessing; be destroyed by thunder from heaven, in Jesus’ name.

4. Any arrow of sorrow and affliction fired into my life; I command you to miss target and return back to sender, in Jesus’ name.

5. Any wicked counsel taken against our G. O, Mummy in the Lord and their children, backfire in Jesus’ name.
