THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL…
DATE: Monday November 13th, 2017.
TEXT: Psalm 46:11

THEME: OUR SUFFICIENCY IS OF THE LORD
MEMORISE: They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth forever. (Psalm 125:1)
MESSAGE:

As Christians we rely not in man, nor our power to fulfill our expectations. Many at times, things may not go the way we expect; there may come tumultuous situations which may get one discouraged, but they that trust in the Lord will always come through victorious because God Almighty is their hope of fulfilment. The unfortunate situation is that some people are still putting their trust in human strength or relying on ungodly means as a means of achieving respite from all their worries. This is not so with believers. True sufficiency is of God Almighty, who has no limitation. When He begins, He must surely make an end. Man can disappoint when faced with challenging circumstances such as financial hardship, sickness, afflictions, mockery, enemies within and without, etc.
When faced with such conditions, you need to seek the Lord with all your heart, for He alone can intervene and give you victory without struggle. You must learn to cast all your cares upon Him for He cares for you. He will heal you and deliver you and supply all you needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. God Almighty lacks nothing; He created the whole universe and all His creations are subject to His majesty. Man is unique among all His creations, because he was created to have fellowship with God and not to be in want of anything. Only sin can hinder His glory from manifesting. However, Jesus has come and restored the broken fellowship with God. So, as many who receive Him as their Lord and Saviour will be restored back to fellowship with God. Therefore, if you are a child of God, your sufficiency is of God through Jesus Christ. There is no need to panic. He will take care of you and nourish you.
Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. Lord, because my sufficiency is of you, I ask that you supply all my
needs according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus, in Jesus’ name.
2. Anything bringing reproaches, backwardness, disappointment,
stagnancy, poverty, barrenness in my life; be destroyed, in Jesus’ name.
3. I pray for the sufficiency of your grace, power, anointing, wisdom
and knowledge upon our G. O and Mummy in the Lord, in Jesus’
name.
