THEME: GOD DEMANDS YOUR SERVICE
MEMORISE: And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. 26 There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil. (Exodus 23:25-26)
MESSAGE:
There is none as faithful as God Almighty. He is not a man neither does He work as man does. He is the creator and nothing can oppose Him. As our Father who created us for His pleasure and all things visible or invisible, He requires our service, because we are created to serve Him.
The purpose of God creating man was to have fellowship with him and serve Him as the creator. Unfortunately, many have lost the purpose of their very existence thereby putting the rest of their lives in danger of judgment.
If God requires our service, it is an opportunity for us to be closer to Him and receive the nourishment attached to serving Him faithfully. When rendering service to Him, you are not expected to give Him a condition, because you were created to serve Him. When you serve Him faithfully, He takes care of you. Therefore, seek to serve God faithfully for eternal benefit which is the ultimate.
When you make yourself available for the work of God in evangelism, prayers, sponsoring the work of God and showing obedience in the areas of tithes, offerings, reaching out to those in need, identifying with a department in the church, you will continually be nourished by Him as He has promised, for He cannot change.
Whatever God says must surely come to pass. So, when you serve Him faithfully, His promises concerning you will be honoured. He has promised to bless your bread and water, to ensure no untimely death comes near you, barrenness shall not be found in your midst and He will fight against all your enemies. God’s nourishment is the redemptive right of His faithful children. Therefore, our primary purpose in life should be to serve God. So, resolve to remain faithful to him till the end. His blessings and nourishment must not make you to be unfaithful.
Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:
1. Father, I repent of all unfaithfulness in my service to you, in Jesus name.
2. Father, increase your nourishment upon our G. O and Mummy in the Lord to enable them meet up with the demands of our vision and mandate, in Jesus name.
