THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL…THEME: HE DESERVES OUR THANKSGIVING

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL…
DATE: Sunday, October 1st, 2017.
TEXT: Psalm 34

THEME: HE DESERVES OUR THANKSGIVING
MEMORISE: I will bless the lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. (Psalm 34:1)
MESSAGE:

Once again the Lord has been gracious to us by allowing us to see another month and the beginning of the last quarter of the year. Many that we started the year with have not been so fortunate. Even today and before the year ends, many more will follow. But it pleased the Lord that we should still have the gift of life and He has remembered His covenant with His chosen ones that none shall die a day before their full life span. Glory to God Almighty!
It is therefore in order that we take time to praise and worship Him for He is worthy of our praise. Not only has He kept us alive but He has also protected, provided and delivered us in times of need. He has not left us alone. Most importantly however, He has given us salvation and the gift of eternal life and He has counted us worthy to be called children of God.

Consequently, we should be very grateful and show our appreciation by giving Him thanksgiving and adoration. We should spread the good news of the gospel and win souls for the Kingdom. We should tell others of the good things He has done for us and we should worship Him with our substances. Nothing is too much for the One that gave us so much even when we did not deserve such mercy. He must come first and He must be given the honour and glory that He alone deserves. Remember He is a jealous God and will not share His glory with another.
Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. Thank you Heavenly Father for the grace to see another month and the beginning of the last quarter of the year.
2. I appreciate you, Father, for all the good things that you have done in my life since the start of the year (your deliverance, protection, provision, healing etc). Accept my thanks dear Lord.
3. I pray for your continued guidance, provision and protection throughout the remaining days of the year.
4. I pray that you will continue to guide and uphold our G. O, Mummy in the Lord and their children till the day of your coming in Jesus’ name.
